TOURNAMENT RULES
  
  1. ORIENTATION MTG: Q & A on rules. Friday evening of the Tournament, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm, Registration & Check-in.

  2. COMPETITORS: Teams must consist of two anglers only. No substitution after check-in. Less than 16 yrs of age requires parental consent. Anglers must have a valid Fishing License where applicable.

  3. TAGS: All teams are required to start and finish EACH DAY with a tag. Any boat not returning the tag on the 1st day will not be permitted to fish the second day. Notification of emergencies or breakdowns called in prior to deadline each day may qualify for exemption.

  4. BOAT LIMIT: 125 teams maximum, 50 teams minimum.

  5. PRE-FISHING: Will cease at 5pm on the Friday of the Tournament. No fishing between Saturday weigh-in & Sunday start time.

  6. BOUNDARIES: Stoney & Clear Lakes, no locking out. No fishing permitted within 150 ft of a competitors boat or within 100 yards of Ministry of Natural Resources nets, live release area, or Tournament Headquarters.

  7. BOAT INSPECTION: Boats & equipment should be available for inspection at dock 30 minutes prior to start time. After inspection, one angler must stay with boat at all times, re-inspection may be required upon 2nd angler boarding the boat.

  8. START ORDER: Based on the date the deposit is received.

  9. START TIME: 1ST wave @ 7am, 2nd wave @ 7:30am both days weather permitting, (Trickle Start). Waves will be reversed on the 2nd day. Starting order remains the same.

  10. WEIGH-IN: 1st wave - 4 pm Sat. and 2 pm. Sun. 2nd wave - 4:30 pm Sat. and 2:30 pm Sun. Boats late for weigh-in will be awarded a 4oz. Penalty for each minute late. Early weigh-in will be available at 10am each day.

  11. DEADLINE: Tournament ends 30 minutes after weigh-in each day.

  12. BOAT NUMBERS: Must be displayed and visible at all times on the driver's side of boat.

  13. BOATING REGULATIONS: All laws must be obeyed. Any violations will lead to disqualification. All boats require an operative kill switch. Boat equipment, Safety equipment, Speed Limits etc. (Life jackets required to be worn when operating under main engine).

  14. BAITS: Artificial baits only, NO live baits, minnows, worms, frogs, etc.

  15. FISH LIMIT: Each team may present a maximum of 5 fish (Bass or Walleye) for weigh-in each day. If more than the limit is presented, the heaviest fish will be removed from the weigh-in and not be eligible.

  16. MINIMUM SIZE: There is a minimum size of 15 inches for Walleye and 13 inches for Bass. Total length is measured from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail. Any fish presented which measures less on the official ruler shall be ruled ineligible and the team will be assessed an 8 ounce penalty.

  17. DAMAGED FISH: In the opinion of the Tournament Biologist, any fish judged unlikely to survive will be kept and the team assessed an 8 oz. Penalty.

  18. LIVE WELLS: Are mandatory (A cooler full of water with a regulation aerator is acceptable), Stringers, etc., not allowed.

  19. TRANSPORTING FISH: During tournament when moving from one location to another under the power of your main combustion engine, the maximum number of fish allowed to be in your live well is 5 per team. If more than the limit is present, the heaviest fish will be removed and not be eligible for weigh-in.

  20. DISQUALIFICATION: May result from any violation of tournament rules.

  21. TIE PLACING: Top 2 teams will have the option of a fish off or coin toss. The balance of the field will be decided by a toss of the coin, one team tosses; the other calls the coin for the better placing.

  22. CASH PAYBACKS: At least one team member must be present for the cash prizes. Cash payout to be posted at tournament.

  23. DOOR PRIZES, DRAWS, 50/50 ETC: you must be present to collect your prizes or cash.

  24. LUNKER POOL: Will be operated by the competitors only.

  25. ALCOHOL: None permitted on a competitors boat or prior to checking out each day.

  26. PROTESTS: Are allowed after final team weighs in, and before prizes are awarded. A $100 fee, refundable if protest is won, must accompany protest.

  27. POSTMARK: Of payment will decide on the total payment due, and the Start placement.

  28. NSF CHECKS: A $25.00 fee will be charged.

  29. REFUNDS: Only if over Boat Limit.
